FORMALD DISINFECTANT

Description:

A general purpose disinfectant formulated for use in footbaths and for fogging.
Formulated from formaldehyde giving excellent disinfecting properties.

Application:

Formald is formulated for use in footbaths for cattle and sheep, pare away any hard tissue.
Prepare a solution of Formald, and walk sheep slowly through the footbath, ensure that sheep are left on clean dry ground while solution is allowed to dry, before returning to pasture. Recommended for sheep to stay on clean dry ground for up to an hour.

Dilution:

General Disinfection: Dilute 1 part of Formald to 5 parts water.
Footbaths: For footbaths dilute 1 part Formald to 19 parts water. Or use at a rate of 5%
Fogging: For fogging use Formald neat at a rate of between 10-12 Litres to 900 square meters of floor area to be treated. Mix well before use.

Irritating to eyes and skin.
In case of contact with eyes wash immediately with clean water & seek medical advice.
In case of contact with skin wash immediately with clean water.
Wear suitable protective clothing & eye/face protection.
Wash hands before eating a meal.
Toxic by inhalation. DO NOT INHALE.
Toxic to fish, do not use near ponds or waterways.
Keep cap tightly closed when not in use.
Keep out of the reach of children.

Storage & Packaging:

Formald Disinfectant is available in 5 Litre containers packed 4 per case, or 20L drums fitted with a tamper evident cap. Store in a cool, and do not expose to frost or high temperatures. Keep out of the reach of children. Keep container tightly closed in a safe place.
Keep away from animals and animal feeds.
